for the Nervous System

This online workshop focuses on ways to apply knowledge of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems in yoga practice and teaching and in life. Jen’s enthusiasm for applied anatomy and her love of yoga shine in this fun and illuminating workshop developed to bring more ease into life. Build foundational knowledge and then explore more complex concepts that explain how we respond to stress in the world.

  • Study the overall structure of the nervous system with a focus on the sympathetic and parasympathetic systems
  • Introduce the vagus nerve with applications for life and yoga practice and teaching
  • Learn the anatomy, alignment, & mechanics of breath patterns
  • Discover how to use breath as a gateway to affect mood, pain, heart rate, gastrointestinal function, & more
  • Experience the benefits of Yoga Nidra for stress relief

Filter the noise. Turn Inward. Rest.
This workshop includes a full yoga nidra practice. Yoga Nidra is an invitation to slow down. To be still. It’s a form of guided meditation designed to help you find ease and presence during the session and beyond. During the practice, you will focus your awareness and attention, tapping into your own wisdom and intuition.
